Fluffy Glazed Donuts

I’m following Nino’s Home - Fluffy Glazed Donuts recipe.

Ingredients

The ingredients listed gets you 10 donuts.

Dough

  • 130 ml milk
  • 30 g sugar
  • 4 g instant dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 300 g bread flour
  • 1/4 tsp (1/4 * 15 ml) salt
  • 35 g unsalted butter

Glaze

  • 35 g unsalted butter
  • Hot water
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 35 ml milk
  • 1/2 tsp ($1/22\cdot 15$ ml) vanilla extract

Methods

Dough

  1. Add 130 ml of unsweeted milk into a bowl.
  2. Add 30 g of sugar into the bowl.
  3. Add 4 g of instanst dry yeast.
  4. Mix them until they dissolves a bit.
  5. Add one egg.
  6. Add 300 g of bread flour.
  7. Mix them until the flour has absorbed all the water.
  8. Continue to mix them your hand and form into a ball.
  9. Take it out of the bowl and knead it on a flat surface.
  10. Add 35 g unsalted butter into the dough and mix them by hand.
  11. Place the kneaded dough into a bowl and cover it up and let it rise for 1 hour.
  12. Take the dough out and start to flatten it.
  13. Cut out the dough into a donut shape using a circle and place them onto a baking tray.
  14. Let them rise for 40-50 min.
  15. Set the pan with oil to medium heat.
  16. Fry it for 3-4 minutes on each sides.

Glaze

  1. Melt 35 g unsalted butter.
  2. Add 160 g powdered sugar into a bowl.
  3. Add 35 ml milk into the bowl.
  4. Add the melted butter.
  5. Add 1/2 tsp vanllia extract.
  6. Mix them until sugar dissolves.
  7. Glaze the donuts.
