Fluffy Glazed Donuts
I’m following Nino’s Home - Fluffy Glazed Donuts recipe.
Ingredients
The ingredients listed gets you 10 donuts.
Dough
- 130 ml milk
- 30 g sugar
- 4 g instant dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 300 g bread flour
- 1/4 tsp (1/4 * 15 ml) salt
- 35 g unsalted butter
Glaze
- 35 g unsalted butter
- Hot water
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 35 ml milk
- 1/2 tsp ($1/22\cdot 15$ ml) vanilla extract
Methods
Dough
- Add 130 ml of unsweeted milk into a bowl.
- Add 30 g of sugar into the bowl.
- Add 4 g of instanst dry yeast.
- Mix them until they dissolves a bit.
- Add one egg.
- Add 300 g of bread flour.
- Mix them until the flour has absorbed all the water.
- Continue to mix them your hand and form into a ball.
- Take it out of the bowl and knead it on a flat surface.
- Add 35 g unsalted butter into the dough and mix them by hand.
- Place the kneaded dough into a bowl and cover it up and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Take the dough out and start to flatten it.
- Cut out the dough into a donut shape using a circle and place them onto a baking tray.
- Let them rise for 40-50 min.
- Set the pan with oil to medium heat.
- Fry it for 3-4 minutes on each sides.
Glaze
- Melt 35 g unsalted butter.
- Add 160 g powdered sugar into a bowl.
- Add 35 ml milk into the bowl.
- Add the melted butter.
- Add 1/2 tsp vanllia extract.
- Mix them until sugar dissolves.
- Glaze the donuts.
