I followd Chinese Red Braised Pork Belly Recipe - Souped Up Recipes but not all the step as I don’t have all the ingredients.
Ingredients
- 700 g skin on pork belly
- 50 g white sugar
- 3 tbsp chinese cooking wine
- 3 tbsp of soy sauce
- 3 tbsp of oyster sauce
- 600 mL Water
- Ginger
- 3 scallions
- 2 garlic clove

Prepare the pork
- Dice up the pork
- Boil the pork with slice ginger, scallion and garlic for 25 min. The longer the more tendor.
- Drain the water and put the pork aside. You can save the stock for later use if you want.
Glaze
- Add oil and sugar to the cooking pot and heat it up on low to medium heat.
- When the sugar begins to carmalised add the pork in. Be careful because it might sizzle and pops if the pot temperature is high.
- Begin adding the sauce, soy sauce, rice wine and oyster sauce and styr it around.
- After done add some water, styr it around and put the lid on it and let it simmer for 10 or more minutes until the sauce begin to thickens.
